Acerca de mí
I have been married for 30 years and have two grown children. Doesn't seem to matter how old they get, they still love to come home to eat mom's cooking. My husband has been a gardener for all of our time together, and he makes homemade spaghetti sauce, stuffed green peppers and wine. He is a biochemist, and I must say, makes better wine than most of the wine we buy at the store. We both really enjoy baking. He is Italian and I am Irish, so my children have grown up with some wonderful recipes. I am currently putting together a cookbook for them which includes my favorite recipes and their dad's favorite recipes. Hopefully, they will pass this down to their children.

Because my parents were reared in the South, most everything my mom and grandmother cooked was fried and seasoned with bacon grease. The first present I bought for myself when I married, was a cook book. I started experimenting right away and haven't stopped yet. I love to try new recipes and techniques, and I am totally delighted watching the Food Network. What a joy. The only cooking show I remember growing up was Julia Child on the Public Broadcast System. Not nearly as diverse as today. My mother-in-law and my husband's grandmother have given me some fabulous recipes and have taught me how to make homemade pasta noodles and Italian pastries.
