Acerca de mí
We, me and my husband, live in a retirement complex near Mossel Bay in the south of South Africa - most beautiful place on earth!! I sometimes experience difficulty in understanding the English recipes, but with my dictionary next to me, I think I can manage.
I do not really love cooking, but I am very interested in cooking, especially from other countries. If anybody is interested in South African cooking, it will be a pleasure to send some of our traditional recipes.

When I was young, I had no time to experiment with food! We live near the sea and in my spare time, I'd prefer to go there!! But I think, I have quite a natural feeling for cooking. Being a bit lazy, I always read a recipe and decide if it is easy and how many dirty tools there will be when the food is cooked! What a shame to make such a confession.
I have lots of experience in preparing "mass" food for churches and schools. My husband was a school principal and I had to decide what to make and how many e.g. hamburgers, hot dogs, curry and rice etc etc etc for each function.
