I am a single mom of two boys. I do all of the cooking in our house. I grew up in Alabama and moved to Pensacola in 1983. My favorite food of course is Southern Comfort Soul Food and Pasta has a close second.

My Granny is the reason I love to cook. We grew our own food, so we had fresh food all year long. Every Sunday after Church, the whole family gathered at Granny's house and she had the most amazing spread of food laid out for us to enjoy, and she got the most joy from cooking for us. She passed her love of cooking and baking to me. I so enjoy cooking and baking for my family and friends and to see the satifaction on there faces is all I need. I am by no means a professional cook. I do it for fun and it is a wonderful stress reliever. I so wish that my boys could have had the experience of sitting at my Granny's Sunday table.
