Hey, everybody, don't forget to eat your lentils for New Years!

Eating lentils on New Years is an Italian tradition. The lentils are said to guarantee prosperity and the more you eat, the more prosperous you'll be!

You can enjoy your lentils with a typical sausage from Emilia-Romagna (specifically from the town of Modena) called cotechino or—my personal favorite—a pig's trotter stuffed with the same filling called zampone.
