Bane of my existence! Grocery store/deli roasted chicken is a frequent temptation but a consistent disappointment!

Any ideas in San Jose?

I don't know, Blake. I've been tempted too, looking at those golden, glistening, roasted birds under the warming lamps. But I'm always plagued by three thoughts: (1) How long's it been there? (2) Will I like their seasoning mix? (3) I can roast my own in about 45 minutes.

In spite of my misgivings, I've given in once or twice but can't say I have any great winners to point you to.
