Hello Foodbuzzers!

I noticed that a good number of Foodbuzz members are also here on CookEatShare. Now that Foodbuzz has made it so hard to keep up with our Foodbuzz friends over there, I thought it would be neat to start a group over here so we can continue sharing our recipes, ideas and all that!

Hello refugees. Glad we can all come together in a new place. I am curious how many people Foodbuzz drove away with their changes. The first few days everybody shared Twitter and Facebook pages using Foodbuzz as the place to exchange info. Then people start posting on Frank's Facebook page, now here. My mother-in-law passed away and I have not been able to post a recipe in almost 2 weeks and I still have a 88 buzz. That tells me Foodbuzz is not seeing any where near the number of posts it used to get.

Yes we have found a new home now, and I am glad to see all those familiar faces that were lost for a while. Thanks for this excellent idea!

Thanks so much for starting this. I felt like I lost all my foodie friends over on Foodbuzz. I post there still but the buzz never goes up. I feel like they have really dropped the ball on something that was really good. I am so happy that everyone is starting to come over here. It is a much easier site to use and there isn't the competition feeling.

I just got invited to join CookEatShare and was happy to find this group! I still go on Foodbuzz but feel like I would love to see some new bloggers and chefs highlighted a little more often!

You know, your comment made me laugh about the olive oil. Honestly, I do love cooking with olive oil. I do have Italian blood. :)

I don't know how I stumbled upon this site, but I'm certainly happy I did. Frank, thank you so much for getting this together. I don't know where you find the time but I'm happy to be able to share with everyone again.

Some of you are already my Foodbuzz friends and some are new. I look forward to sharing with everyone here as I don't use Facebook.

Just an interesting statistic -- According to Google Analytics, my referrals from FB have gone from number 8 to #35 in the last month. I had only 20 pageviews that came from Foodbuzz in the past 30 days where in the past it was an average of 300 to 350.

Yes FB is like flogging a dead horse now. I wonder why they havent changed things yet after so many complaints. Now its spam free and traffic free!

Just got a message that "sharing with friends" is coming back to FB. Wonder if this is going to help or if it is too late.
