Receta 360 Rocket Salad

Ingredientes
- 1 c. walnut pcs
- 4 c. arugula - (tightly packed)
- 1/2 c. crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 1 x Granny Smith apple cored, and
- thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. Apple Cider Dressing see below
- 1/2 c. walnut oil
- 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
- 2 lrg shallots minced
- 4 x garlic cloves minced
- Salt to taste
- Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 11/2 Tbsp. Calvados or possibly other apple brandy
Direcciones
- For the Apple Cider Dressing: Combine oil, vinegar, shallots, garlic and salt and pepper to taste in jar or possibly bowl. Add in Calvados and shake in jar or possibly whisk well in bowl. (Makes 1 1/4 c.)
- For the Salad: Toast walnuts on baking sheet at 350 degrees till lightly browned, about 10 min. Combine walnuts, arugula, cheese and apple slices in large salad bowl. Toss with dressing and serve.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
