7 Egg Chiffon Cake

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 7 egg yolks
  • 3/4 c. water (cool)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon
  • 1 teaspoon orange
  • 1/2 c. veg. oil
  • 7 egg whites
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bakewell cream

Direcciones

  1. Sift dry ingredients in bowl, make hole in middle and add in egg yolks, water, oil and flavoring. Mix and beat well.In separate bowl, beat egg whites and Bakewell cream. Beat till very stiff. Fold other batter into egg whites 1/3 at a time.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in ungreased tube pan or possibly till there is no beads of moisture on top. Cook cake upside down.
