%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20normally%20would%20make%20a%20tomato%20tart%20using%20puff%20pastry,%20but%20I%20didn't%20have%20any%20in%20the%20fridge.%20I%20did%20however%20have%20a%20tube%20of%20pizza%20dough%20and%20so%20decided%20to%20use%20that%20instead.%20It%20turned%20out%20fabulously.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt's%20like%20a%20pizza/tart%20.%20.%20.%20with%20lovely%20flavours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20have%20a%20base%20of%20a%20grainy%20mustard%20flavoured%20mayonnaise.%20(I%20use%20low%20fat%20with%20no%20problems).%20Delicious%20and%20flavourful%20Strong%20Cheddar%20cheese%20tops%20this.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESliced%20tomatoes,%20which%20are%20not%20really%20at%20their%20best%20this%20time%20of%20year,%20but%20cooking%20can%20and%20does%20redeem%20them.%20A%20savoury%20sprinkling%20of%20seasalt,%20black%20pepper,%20onion%20and%20garlic%20powders%20and%20mixed%20herbs%20also%20helps.%20Then%20with%20a%20final%20dusting%20of%20freshly%20grated%20parmesan,%20it's%20ready%20to%20pop%20into%20a%20hot%20oven%20to%20bake.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20bakes%20quite%20quickly%20and%20at%20the%20end%20you%20are%20rewarded%20with%20a%20delicious%20tart,%20with%20a%20crisp%20bread%20base,%20and%20delicious%20filling.%20A%20scattering%20of%20fresh%20basil%20leaves%20on%20top%20of%20the%20finished%20tart%20looks%20very%20pretty%20as%20a%20finishing%20touch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20like%20to%20drizzle%20some%20balsamic%20syrup%20on%20mine%20just%20before%20I%20tuck%20in,%20but%20.%20.%20.%20feel%20free%20to%20do%20as%20you%20wish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*A%20Delicious%20Tomato%20Tart*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%204%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENecessity%20being%20the%20mother%20of%20invention,%20I%20created%20a%20delicious%20tomato%20tart%20out%20of%20what%20I%20had%20on%20hand.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20package%20of%20refrigerated%20ready%20rolled%20pizza%20base%20dough%20(large%20enough%20to%20fit%20a%20baking%20tray%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebalsamic%20syrup%20to%20drizzle%20(optional)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20205*C/425*F/%20gas%20mark%206.%20Line%20your%20baking%20sheet%20with%20parchment%20paper.%20Unroll%20the%20pizza%20dough%20onto%20the%20lined%20baking%20sheet.%20Curl%20over%20the%20edges%20all%20the%20way%20around.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20together%20the%20mayonnaise%20and%20mustard.%20Spread%20this%20over%20the%20crust%20all%20the%20way%20to%20the%20rolled%20edges.%20Sprinkle%20the%20grated%20cheddar%20cheese%20evenly%20over%20top.%20Place%20the%20sliced%20tomatoes%20evenly%20over%20top.%20Dust%20with%20mixed%20herbs,%20seasalt%20and%20black%20pepper%20to%20taste.%20Sprinkle%20with%20some%20onion%20and%20garlic%20powder.%20Dust%20with%20freshly%20Grated%20Parmesan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2015%20to%2020%20minutes%20until%20lightly%20browned%20and%20bubbling%20and%20the%20bottom%20is%20browned%20evenly.%20Remove%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20allow%20to%20sit%20for%20several%20minutes%20before%20tearing%20basil%20leaves%20and%20scattering%20them%20over%20top.%20Cut%20into%20squares%20to%20serve.%20If%20desired,%20drizzle%20with%20some%20balsamic%20syrup.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
