%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20It%E2%80%99s%20been%20a%20week%20of%20catching%20up%20around%20here,%20and%20just%20when%20I%20thought%20I%20had%20my%20to-do%20list%20checked%20off%20and%20my%20t%E2%80%99s%20dotted%20and%20my%20i%E2%80%99s%20crossed%20(or%20something%20like%20that),%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies%20and%20cinnamon%20rolls%20for%20a%20guest%20that%E2%80%99s%20coming%20to%20the%20ranch%20this%20weekend.%20I%20was%20so%20on%20top%20of%20things,%20I%20even%20pre-measured%20all%20the%20ingredients%20in%20advance,%20using%20various%20assorted%20bowls%20to%20hold%20the%20various%20quantities%20of%20flour%20and%20other%20ingredients.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20I%20was%20so%20on%20top%20of%20things,%20that%20the%20dry%20ingredients%20I%20added%20to%20the%20cookie%20dough%20was%20actually%20meant%20to%20be%20the%20last%20addition%20of%20dry%20ingredients%20for%20the%20cinnamon%20rolls.%20So%20I%20hope%20my%20guest%20likes%20salty%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies,%20because%20there%E2%80%99s%20a%20tablespoon%20in%20there.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20yeah%E2%80%A6that%E2%80%99s%20the%20kind%20of%20thing%20that%20happens%20when%20I%20get%20all%20caught%20up%20around%20here.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20In%20other%20news:%20I%E2%80%99ve%20fallen%20back%20in%20like%20(not%20love,%20never%20love)%20with%20the%20treadmill,%20and%20that%20is%20because%20I%20started%20doing%20the%20whole%20thing%20on%20an%20incline%20rather%20than%20just%20walking%20on%20a%20zero%20grade.%20I%20love%20the%20whole%20incline%20thing!%20Not%20only%20does%20it%20make%20me%20sweat%20sooner%20and%20decrease%20the%20time%20I%20have%20to%20spend%20on%20that%20horrible,%20godforsaken%20household%20contraption,%20but%20it%20has%20made%20my%20foot%20pain%20go%20away%20within%20three%20days.%20I%20won%E2%80%99t%20try%20to%20speculate%20on%20the%20correlation%20between%20incline%20walking%20and%20the%20diminishment%20of%20foot%20pain%20caused%20by%20plantar%20fasciitis.%20But%20just%20know%20that%20as%20the%20daughter%20of%20a%20(now%20retired)%20orthopedic%20surgeon,%20I%20definitely%20know%20the%20answer.%20Even%20if%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20know%20I%20know%20the%20answer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20One%20other%20thing%20related%20to%20the%20treadmill:%20I%20have%20finally%20discovered%20Netflix!%20For%20the%20longest%20time,%20we%20weren%E2%80%99t%20able%20to%20get%20it%20because%20of%20connection%20speeds%20on%20the%20ranch.%20But%20some%20kind%20of%20magical%20switch%20happened%20overnight,%20and%20now%20Netflix%20is%20my%20new%20favorite%20thing.%20Well,%20HBO%20too%E2%80%94just%20depends%20on%20what%20I%20want%20to%20watch.%20And%20I%20only%20watch%20real-life%20things.%20I%20started%20with%20Making%20a%20Murderer.%20Then%20I%20moved%20over%20to%20HBO%20for%20The%20Jinx.%20(Have%20you%20watched%20either?)%20And%20now%20I%E2%80%99m%20re-watching%20(Marlboro%20Man,%20the%20kids%20and%20I%20watched%20it%20a%20year%20or%20two%20ago)%20The%20Crash%20Reel.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20I%20must%20have%20mentioned%20The%20Crash%20Reel%20when%20I%20watched%20it%20before,%20but%20I%20have%20to%20say%20that%20it%E2%80%99s%20probably%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20documentaries%20of%20all%20time.%20It%E2%80%99s%20about%20snowboarder%20Kevin%20Pearce,%20who%20sustained%20a%20career-changing%20(and%20life-changing)%20injury,%20and%20I%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20begin%20to%20list%20what%20is%20so%20good%20about%20the%20film.%20Part%20of%20it%20is%20watching%20Kevin%E2%80%99s%20meteoric%20rise%20in%20the%20snowboarding%20world,%20seeing%20not%20only%20his%20accident,%20but%20also%20footage%20of%20other%20devastating%20adventure%20sports%20accidents%20(hard%20to%20watch),%20and%20witnessing%20his%20eventual%20acceptance%20that%20the%20life%20he%20had%20pictured%20for%20himself%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20going%20to%20happen.%20But%20more%20than%20that,%20it%E2%80%99s%20his%20beautiful%20family%E2%80%94his%20parents,%20who%20love%20him%20beyond%20measure%20and%20struggle%20with%20his%20wanting%20to%20return%20to%20the%20sport%20that%20almost%20killed%20him.%20And%20it%E2%80%99s%20his%20three%20brothers,%20who%20would%20do%20anything%20for%20him%E2%80%94but%20especially%20his%20brother%20David,%20who%20repeatedly%20(and%20very%20eloquently)%20pleads%20with%20his%20brother%20not%20to%20take%20the%20risk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHave%20you%20ever%20cried%20on%20a%20treadmill?%20Because%20I%E2%80%99ve%20been%20doing%20it%20a%20lot%20this%20week.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20Watch%20The%20Crash%20Reel%20when%20you%20can.%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20get%20it%20off%20my%20mind%20today.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Maybe%20that%20contributed%20to%20the%20whole%20cookie%20dough/cinnamon%20roll%20dough%20mishap%E2%80%A6)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20What%20are%20you%20all%20doing%20for%20the%20Super%20Bowl?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E6.%20What%20are%20you%20all%20eating%20for%20the%20Super%20Bowl?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E7.%20What%20are%20you%20all%20eating%20right%20now?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E8.%20(I%20just%20ate%20a%20spoonful%20of%20cookie%20dough.%20That%20salt%20didn%E2%80%99t%20both
