Agua de Tamarindo

I do not care for sodas and find this flavor amazing! I will make this over and over!

Ingredientes

  • 8 Tamarind Pods
  • 6 cups Water
  • 1/2 cup Sugar

Direcciones

  1. Crush Tamarind pods in a plastic bag, just enough to break apart the light brown shell.
  2. Remove the shell pieces and strands around the thick, gummy interior.
  3. Place the peeled pods into sauce pan with water and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  4. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Strain, cool, serve. Water and sugar can be adjusted according to personal taste.
