Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Black eye peas
  • 3 x Green peppers (up to 4) Salt to taste Fat for frying

  1. Wash and soak dry peas over night in warm water. Remove out skins. Soak again till fully swollen. Lb. in a mortar till very smooth or possibly use food processor. Put aside in a bowl. Cut up geen peppers and process them. Add in to pea mix. Both must be smooth. Add in about 1 tsp. salt or possibly more to taste. Beat well till thick and creamy with a wooden spoon. Drop by spoonfuls into warm fat and fry till golden, drain and serve .
