Ingredientes

  • 1 loaf frzn bread dough (honey wheat is a good choice because it's pliable)
  • Oil
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Aluminum foil
  • Kitchen scissors
  • Knife

  1. Semi-thaw 1 loaf of frzn bread dough.2. Lightly oil hands and dough. Cut a 2 inch section of thawed dough for alligator's legs and eyes. With remaining dough start forming a tail by rolling and stretching loaf to 18 inches long.
  2. Cut a 3 inch deep mouth at the wide end. Clip teeth with scissors. Prop mouth open with a small foil ball. Pinch nose to create nostril. Curving body, place alligator on a greased cookie sheet. Pinch eye sockets 1 1/2 inches from nostril.
  3. From the 2 inch reserved dough, pinch off two pea sized balls of dough and place in eye sockets. Cut remaining dough into 4 equal pcs for the legs. Stretch each leg to 5 inches and cut in toes. Add in to body. Cut triangle scales on body with scissors.
  4. Brush with whole beaten large eggs. Cover loosely with plastic wrap; let rise till double. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 min. Remove foil from mouth. Serve for a Gatorific treat!
