Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 x Egg, beaten
  • 1 c. Half and Half
  • 1 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper, white
  • 1 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 c. Almonds, sliced
  • 1 x Pie Shell, baked

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry onion in butter till tender. In small bowl, beat together the Large eggs, both milks, flour and pepper till lightly frothy.
  2. Stir in the cooked onion, cheese and toasted sliced almonds till well mixed.
  3. Pour the mix into a still warm baked pie shell. Bake at 325F for about45 min.
  4. When done, a knife inserted in the middle will come out clean. Let stand for 10 min, slice and serve.
