Almost Fatless Chocolate Torte

Ingredientes

  • 4 x free range Large eggs
  • 75 gm caster sugar -- (3oz)
  • 350 gm cocoa content dark chocolate - (12oz)
  • 1 Tbsp. liqueur of your choice

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 180xC / 350xF / gas mark 4. Heat the chocolate over a pan of simmering water. Set aside to cold.
  2. Whisk the Large eggs with the caster sugar for 5 min, till they have increased in size by four, and are pale and thick. Add in the melted chocolate, making sure it's not too warm, or possibly the mix will harden.
  3. You could put 1 Tbsp of any type of liqueur you like in at this point, if you wish.
  4. Turn out into a grease proof lined loose bottomed cake tin (7 inches approx.) and bake for 50 min, or possibly till a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cold in tin and turn out.
  5. To serve, dust with cocoa.
