- Poppy seeds or khus khus – 1/2 teaspoon
- Green chillies – 2
- Garlic cloves -6 to 7
- Ginger or adrak – 1 inch small sized (chopped finely)
- Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons
- Grated coconut – 1/4 cup
