Ingredientes

  • 1 c. coarsely-minced walnuts toasted
  • 1/2 c. almond liqueur
  • 1 c. butter
  • 8 x unsweetened chocolate squares - (1 ounce ea)
  • 5 lrg Large eggs
  • 3 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. Swiss mocha instant coffee mix
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt Toasted walnut halves for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Soak minced walnuts in liqueur 4 to 6 hrs. Drain, discarding liqueur.
  2. Heat butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over low heat.
  3. Beat Large eggs, sugar, and Swiss mocha at medium-high speed with an electric mixer 8 min. Gradually add in chocolate mix, beating at low speed till blended. Gradually add in vanilla, flour, and salt, beating till blended. Stir in minced walnuts.
  4. Pour into a lightly greased aluminum foil-lined 13- by 9-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 min. Cold on a wire rack. Cut into squares. Garnish, if you like.
  5. This recipe yields 15 brownies.
