Ingredientes

  • 2 x egg whites
  • 1 pch salt
  • 1 pch cream of tartar
  • 7 Tbsp. sugar (not substitute)

Direcciones

  1. NOTE: Use Double Berry Bavarian (see recipe) as a filling.
  2. Have egg whites at room temperature. Beat in a nonplastic bowl till frothy. Add in salt and cream of tartar and beat till stiff. Gradually beat in the sugar, a Tbsp. at a time, till stiff peaks form.
  3. Spread the meringue mix on the sides and bottom of a 9-inch nonstick pie pan. Bake in a 275 oven for 1 hour. Turn off the heat and leave in the oven an additional 30 min. Remove and cold.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare Bavarian filling. Spoon filling into cooled pie shell. Refrigerate3 hrs.
