Ingredientes

  • 2 pkt Dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. Hot water
  • 4 c. Flour
  • 2/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Butter
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk, scalded, cooled
  • 2 lrg Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
  • 4 c. Apples, peeled, cored, slice
  • 1/4 c. Butter, melted
  • 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. SWEET DOUGH: Sprinkle yeast over hot water; stir to dissolve.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in large mixing bowl. Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Add in combined lowfat milk, Large eggs, and yeast to dry ingredients; mix well. Brush with butter. Cover; refrigerateovernight.
  3. APFEL KUCHEN: Bring dough to room temperature.
  4. Divide dough in half; spread into 2 buttered 8" square pans. Press apples into dough. Brush dough with butter. Sprinkle with combined sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Cover; let dough rise in hot place till doubled. Bake in preheated 350 F oven 40-45 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
