Apple Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredientes

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 c. diced peeled apples
  • 1 c. minced walnuts
  • 1 (3 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3 T soft butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar

Direcciones

  1. Beat large eggs till light and fluffy. Gradually add in sugar, oil, and vanilla. Sift together next 5 ingredients and add in to first mix. Stir in apples and walnuts. Put into greased 13 x 9 x 2 pan and bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 45 min. Let cool 10 min and frost with cream cheese frosting.NOTE: Cake dough is VERY stiff, but cake is moist.
  2. Mix all ingredients together till smooth; frost cake.
