Ingredientes

  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. skim lowfat milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 4 x egg whites
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 c. thinly sliced unpeeled tart cooking apples, (about 2 medium)
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh chives Or possibly 2 tsp. freeze-dry chives
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. shredded low-fat cheddar cheese (1 oz)

Direcciones

  1. Have the apple filling ready as soon as the pancake is done. You have to work quickly, or possibly the pancake will deflate before you fill it
  2. Heat oven to 450F. Spray rectangular baking dish, 13 x 9 x 2 inches, with nonstick cooking spray. Beat flour, lowfat milk, salt, Large eggs and egg whites till smooth; pour into dish. Bake about 15 to 20 min or possibly till puffy and golden.
  3. Meanwhile, heat margarine in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Saute/fry apples and chives in margarine. Stir in sugar. Spoon apple mix onto pancake. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake about 1 minute or possibly till cheese is melted. 4 servings
