Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Cottage cheese
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 c. Cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c. Apples thinly sliced
  • 1/8 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. Whipped cream
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 3 ounce Cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. Flour sifted
  • 1/8 tsp Salt

Direcciones

  1. Beat Large eggs. Add in cottage cheese, 1/2 c. sugar, salt, cream, and vanilla.
  2. Line an 8 inch pie plate with pastry. Combine apples with 1/2 c. sugar and spices. (The amount of sugar may vary depending on the tartness of apples.)
  3. Turn apples into pastry. Cover with cottage cheese mix. Bake for 10 min at 400 and 25 min at 350 till cottage cheese mix is set.
  4. Remove from oven and let cold. Top with whipped cream or possibly ice cream. PASTRY: Cream butter and cream cheese together. Sift flour once, measure, add in salt and cut into cheese mix till it resembles a fine meal. Wrap in waxed paper, press firmly together; chill. When mix is chilled, roll 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured pastry canvas. Fit into pie pan or possibly plate. Bake in a 400 oven for 12 to15 min.
