Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 4 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 pt Whipping cream, (4 c.)
  • 23 ounce Chunky Apple Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Or possibly 2 cinnamon
  • 2/3 c. Minced walnuts

Direcciones

  1. In large saucepan, combine brown sugar, lowfat milk and Large eggs.
  2. Cook over low heat till mix coats a metal spoon, stirring constantly.
  3. Cold. Stir cream, apple sauce, vanilla, cinnamon and walnuts into cooled mix.
  4. Prepare 4 or possibly 5-qt ice cream freezer according to manufacturer s directions; freeze as directed.
  5. Yields 4 qts.
  6. Notes: Pantry: Mott's Chunky Apple Sauce.
  7. This recipe can easily be reducedby half or possibly even fourths to accommodate some of the smaller ice cream freezers available on the market.
