Receta Apple-Sausage Streudel
Apple-Sausage Streudel is an easy 30 minute recipe for a delicious breakfast and/or brunch option. It is also a healthy, vegetarian, diabetic, heart-healthy and Weight Watchers (3) PointsPlus recipe. Made with veggie sausage links, apples, refrigerated pizza crust and fresh apples for a very healthy option for a tasty start to your day.
Ingredientes
- Non-Stick cooking spray
- 1 (10 oz) can refrigerated pizza crust
- 2 tbsp +1 tsp cinnamon sugar, divided
- 1 cooking apple, such as Granny Smith or Jonathan, thinly sliced
- 5 frozen vegetable breakfast links, (such as "Boca" brand), chopped
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 400º F.
- Pat pizza dough onto the bottom of a 15" x 10" x 1" pan sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle with the 2 Tbsp cinnamon sugar.
- Arrange apples in a lengthwise row down the center of the dough; top with the chopped links. Fold over both long sides of dough to cover filling, slightly overlapping edges of dough in center. Pinch ends of dough together to seal. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tsp cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 15 min. or until golden brown. Cut into 8 equally sized pieces.
