Ingredientes

  • 8 ounce link Sweet Sausage cut into slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 apples (of your choice) peeled, cored, sliced
  • Pastry Dough (from the freezer section of your grocery store)
  • one cup Mascarpone cheese
  • Garnish with chopped chives, optional (I always do)

Direcciones

  1. Pre Heat Oven 400 F
  2. Roll out pastry dough and curl up the edges, add a sprinkle of sugar and place on a rimmed non stick baking sheet pan, put into the oven for 6 minutes, remove and set aside
  3. Peel, core and slices apples (I put them into a bowl with fresh Pure Apple juice to eliminate browning and add flavor, that's optional)
  4. In a saucepan add butter, sliced sausages and brown several minutes until no longer pink ( about 8 minutes)
  5. Coat the pastry dough with mascarpone cheese, spread out evenly, add cooked sausage slices, add apple slices on top
  6. Garnish with chives if desired
