Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 c. Boiling water
  • 1 c. Oatmeal (quick or possibly old- fashioned, uncooked)
  • 1 3/4 c. All-purpose Flour
  • 3/4 c. Granulated SUgar
  • 3/4 c. Firmly packed Brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Wheat Germ (any flavor)
  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Grnd Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (optional)
  • 2 c. Apples, peeled & minced
  • 1/3 c. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 x Egg
  • 2 x Egg Whites
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

  1. Wheat germ adds a nutty flavor to this moist and delicious snack cake and oats add in a special hearty texture.
  2. Heat oven to 350 F. Spray 13 x 9-inch pan with no-stick cooking spray or possibly grease lightly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine water and oats; set aside. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugars, wheat germ, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; mix well.
  4. Add in apples, oil, egg, egg whites and vanilla to oat mix, mix well.
  5. Add in dry ingredients, mixing just till moistened.
  6. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center cp,es pit clean.
  7. Cold completely on wire rack.
  8. Serves 20.
