Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. Boiling water
- 1 c. Oatmeal (quick or possibly old- fashioned, uncooked)
- 1 3/4 c. All-purpose Flour
- 3/4 c. Granulated SUgar
- 3/4 c. Firmly packed Brown sugar
- 1/2 c. Wheat Germ (any flavor)
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Grnd Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Salt (optional)
- 2 c. Apples, peeled & minced
- 1/3 c. Vegetable Oil
- 1 x Egg
- 2 x Egg Whites
- 1 tsp Vanilla

- * Wheat germ adds a nutty flavor to this moist and delicious snack cake and oats add in a special hearty texture.
- 1. Heat oven to 350 F. Spray 13 x 9-inch pan with no-stick cooking spray or possibly grease lightly.
- 2. In a large bowl, combine water and oats; set aside. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugars, wheat germ, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; mix well.
- 3. Add in apples, oil, egg, egg whites and vanilla to oat mix, mix well.
- 4. Add in dry ingredients, mixing just till moistened.
- 5. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center cp,es pit clean.
- 6. Cold completely on wire rack.
- Serves 20.
