Ingredientes

  • 4 x Frzn puff pastry shells
  • 1 Tbsp. Unsalted butter, plus
  • 1 tsp Unsalted butter
  • 4 lrg Jonathan apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Evaporated skim lowfat milk
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cardamom
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced pecans

Direcciones

  1. Bake puff pastry shells according to package directions. Heat butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Saute/fry apples and sugar 12-15 min, stirring frequently. (Reduce heat if necessary to keep apples from burning.) When apples begin to caramelize, reduce heat to medium. Stir in evaporated lowfat milk and cardamom. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low.
  2. Simmer 1 minute. Stir in pecans. Just before serving, spoon fruit mix into baked puff pastry shells.
