Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ounce red food color
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 T color
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soda

Direcciones

  1. Cream together shortening, sugar, large eggs, food coloring, and vanilla. Beat very well till smooth. Sift together flour, salt, and 2 tbsp color. Add in flour mix to creamed sugar mix, alternating with buttermilk.Mix together vinegar and soda. Beat well and blend into batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 min. Makes 2 layers.
