Ingredientes
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup cooked and mashed prunes
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups flour
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 cup nuts
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cloves
Direcciones
- Mix sugar and oil, add eggs. Sift flour, spices and salt together. Add soda to buttermilk. If you don't have buttermilk, use regular milk and add a tsp. of vinegar or lemon juice to make it into buttermilk. Add flour and milk to sugar and oil. Add prunes and nuts. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 degrees for 1- 1 1/2 hours until it tests done with a toothpick in the center that comes out clean.
