  • Aval (Poha) – 2 cups
  • Onions – 2, chopped
  • Tomatoes – 2, chopped
  • Carrot – 2, chopped
  • Beans – 6 to 8, chopped
  • Green Peas – 1/2 cup, shelled
  • Potatoes – 1 to 2 (depending on size), chopped
  • Green Chillies – 3 to 4, finely chopped
  • Mustard Seeds – little
  • Urad Dal – little
  • Salt as per taste
  • Buttermilk – 4 cups
  • Curry Leaves – handful
  • Peanuts (or Cashewnuts) – 1 cup, chopped
  • Oil – 2 tblsp
