Ingredientes

  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. or possibly 2 ounce sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon grnd red pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. veg. oil
  • 6 strips bacon

Direcciones

  1. Cook bacon till crisp. Drain and crumble. Set aside. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 12 muffin cups or possibly line with paper. In mixing bowl, stir together flour, cheese, sugar, baking pwdr, and salt and pepper. Make a well in the center.In a small bowl, put together egg, lowfat milk, and oil. Add in all at once into the well. Stir till moistened. Batter should be lumpy. Mix in bacon and fill tins to the top. Bake 20 to 25 min. If you do not like sweets, leave out the sugar.
