Ingredientes

  • 4 x Ripe avocados, halved and stoned
  • 175 gm Fresh crab meat, (6oz)
  • 4 Tbsp. Single cream
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. Wholemeal breadcrumbs
  • 50 gm Gruyere cheese, grated (2oz) Salt and freshly grnd black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Place the avocados, cut side up in an ovenproof dish.
  2. Mix together the crab meat, cream, paprika and seasoning to taste then pile the mix onto the avocado halves.
  3. Mix together the breadcrumbs and cheese and sprinkle over the avocados. Place under a preheated warm grill for 3-4 min till the topping is crisp and golden.
  4. Serve immediately with a crisp green salad and hot crusty bread.
  5. NOTES : Delicious, quick and easy to make starters for 4 people, or possibly a light supper for 2.
