Ingredientes

  • 16 slices white bread with crusts removed
  • 4 c.lowfat milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 c. grated cheddar cheese

Direcciones

  1. Butter bread. Place buttered side down in 9 x 12 baking dish. Sprinkle with one half of the cheese. Place remaining 3 slices butter side up on top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.Beat large eggs, lowfat milk, and seasonings and pour over bread. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Fondue will puff and must be served immediately. It is better to prepare this in advance and allow to stand overnight in refrigerator.
