Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
  • 2/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 lb cherry tomatoes
  • 1 loaf focaccia bread (or possibly French bread) heated
  • 6 ounce soft feta cheese
  • 2/3 c. fresh basil cut chiffonade

Direcciones

  1. Steep garlic in extra virgin olive oil at least 1/2 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash and stem tomatoes and cut them in half (put unwrapped bread into the oven).
  2. Put tomatoes in a shallow baking dish, pour extra virgin olive oil and garlic over and toss lightly. Bake 10 min; sprinkle over chunks of cheese (cut into 1/2-inch pcs) and slivered basil. Stir gently. Serve with bread to mop up juices.
  3. This recipe yields 6 appetizer servings.
