Receta Baked German Apple Pancake

Ingredientes
- 4 lg. large eggs, room temperature
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. homogenized lowfat milk, room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 med. Granny Smith apples, peeled & sliced
- 1/4 c. white sugar
- 2 T brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Direcciones
- Place all pancake ingredients in blender. Beat till frothy. Let stand till pan is prepared.
- Mix lemon juice with sliced apples. Add in sugar and cinnamon to apples. Mix thoroughly. Set aside.Pans and preparation: 2 pans, 9 inches round, 1 1/2 inches deep. 6 tbsp butter. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place pans in hot oven to preheat.
- Thirty min to serving time: Divide butter between 2 preheated pans. Heat in oven. Run blender mix till frothy while butter is melting. Quickly place apples, half in each pan, pour half of the pancake mix over each pan of apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 min till puffed up like a popover or possibly yorkshire pudding. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve hot, fresh from the oven for brunch or possibly late night. ONO!
