%20And%20if%20there's%20anything%20I%20like%20more%20than%20baking%20it's%20watching%20a%20program%20on%20the%20telly%20about%20baking.%20I'm%20very%20excited%20to%20let%20you%20know%20that%20on%20the%205th%20of%20March,%202012%20on%20Channel%204%20at%2012:05%20pm%20the%20second%20Series%20of%20%22Baking%20Mad%20with%20Eric%20Lanlard%22%20begins!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20new%20series%20runs%20for%20four%20weeks,%20every%20week%20day%20and%20sees%20Eric%20.%20.%20.%20the%20guru%20of%20all%20things%20sweet,%20beautiful%20and%20baked%20.%20.%20.%20at%20home%20in%20his%20own%20kitchen%20creating%20quick%20baking%20recipes%20along%20side%20of%20his%20signature%20glamorous%20desserts.%20I%20think%20the%20new%20series%20will%20easily%20appeal%20to%20bakers%20of%20every%20kind%20from%20the%20novice%20to%20the%20expert.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEach%20episode%20is%2030%20minutes%20in%20length%20and%20will%20also%20feature%20three%20members%20of%20the%20public%20who%20will%20come%20to%20his%20cooker%20school,%20Cake%20Boy,%20to%20demonstrate%20their%20baking%20skills%20and%20take%20part%20in%20a%20%22Bake%20Off!%22%20(I%20cannot%20imagine%20the%20pressure%20they%20must%20be%20under!)%20It%20promises%20to%20be%20a%20beautifully%20produced%20series%20which%20balances%20inspiration%20with%20information,%20engaging%20the%20viewer%20to%20try%20new%20things%20to%20add%20to%20their%20baking%20repertoire.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20show%20is%20sponsored%20by%20Bakingmad.com,%20a%20wonderful%20online%20baking%20community%20of%20over%20100,000%20members%20sharing%20a%20wealth%20of%20information,%20recipes,%20hints,%20tips%20and%20advice%20on%20everything%20to%20do%20with%20baking!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20asked%20ahead%20of%20time%20to%20take%20part%20in%20a%20special%20challenge.%20I%20was%20given%20the%20choice%20of%20one%20of%20the%20full%20collection%20of%20recipes%20that%20Eric%20will%20be%20making%20in%20the%2020%20episodes%20to%20bake%20at%20home%20myself!%20I%20did%20not%20need%20to%20think%20twice%20about%20accepting%20the%20challenge.%20I%20already%20own%20Eric's%20first%20book%20and%20know%20first%20hand%20how%20scrummy%20his%20recipes%20are.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20chose%20to%20bake%20the%20Peanut%20Butter%20Blondies%20recipe,%20which%20I%20baked%20today%20and%20boy%20oh%20boy,%20are%20they%20ever%20moreishly%20scrummy%20indeed!%20Just%20imagine%20it%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMoist%20blonde%20brownies%20.%20.%20.%20flavoured%20with%20chunky%20peanut%20butter%20.%20.%20.%20stogged%20full%20of%20white%20chocolate%20bits%20and%20toasted%20walnuts%20(my%20idea%20to%20toast%20them,%20coz%20well%20.%20.%20.%20toasted%20nuts%20just%20taste%20better%20in%20my%20opinion!)%20.%20.%20.%20and%20topped%20with%20more%20white%20chocolate%20bits,%20some%20more%20toasted%20walnuts%20and%20a%20drizzle%20of%20dark%20chocolate!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20delicious%20concoction%20that%20smells%20absolutely%20fabulous%20when%20baking%20.%20.%20.%20and%20is%20oh-so-difficult%20to%20resist%20sinking%20your%20teeth%20into%20once%20they%20come%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20.%20.%20.%20but%20do%20be%20patient%20.%20.%20.%20you%20will%20want%20to%20wait%20until%20you%20have%20dressed%20them%20with%20all%20of%20the%20extras!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20dare%20say%20I%20wouldn't%20have%20to%20ask%20one%20of%20you%20twice%20if%20you'd%20like%20one%20would%20I???%20I%20thought%20not!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Peanut%20Butter%20Blondies*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%2012%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdapted%20from%20a%20recipe%20from%20Baking%20Mad%20with%20Eric%20Lanlard.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20170*C/%20325*F/%20gas%20mark%203.%20Butter%20an%208%20inch%20square%20tin%20with%20butter%20and%20line%20the%20base%20with%20baking%20paper.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECream%20together%20the%20butter%20and%20peanut%20butter%20until%20creamy,%20using%20an%20electric%20hand%20whisk%20at%20medium%20speed.%20Beat%20in%20the%20vanilla,%20sugar%20and%20egg%20until%20light%20and%20fluffy.%20Chop%20the%20white%20chocolate%20and%20stir%20into%20the%20mixture%20along%20with%20the%20chopped%20walnuts.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESift%20the%20flour%20and%20baking%20powder%20into%20the%20bowl%20and%20fold%20in%20using%20a%20large%20metal%20spoon.%20Spoon%20the%20mixture%20into%20the%20prepared%20baking%20tin,%20smoothing%20over%20the%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20in%20the%20middle%20of%20the%20preheated%20oven%20for%2035%20to%2040%20minutes,%20until%20it%20has%20a%20nice%20golden%20crust%20but%20is%20still%20fudgy%20in%20the%20middle.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAllow%20to%20cool%20in%20the%20tin.%20Decorate%20with%20white%20chocolate%20chunks%20and%20walnut%20pieces%20and%20drizzle%20over%20some%20dark%20chococolate.%20Cut%20into%20squares%20to%20serve.%20Store%20in%20an%20airtight%20container.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20this%20fab%20recipe%20is%20any%20indication%20of%20the%20quality%20of%20baking%20which%20will%20be%20showcased%20during%20the%20airing%20of%20this%20series,%20I,%20for%20one,%20will%20be%20following%20along%20with%20great%20anticipation%20each%20week%20day%20for%20
