%20As%20it%20uses%20fresh%20banana%20you%20could%20even%20trick%20yourself%20into%20believing%20its%20one%20of%20your%205%20day!%20And%20nuts%20are%20good%20for%20you%20to,%20full%20of%20essential%20stuff!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20recipe%20came%20about%20firstly%20after%20buying%20far%20too%20many%20bananas%20in%20the%20market%20some%20weeks%20back%20(I%20only%20managed%20to%20look%20at%20banana's%20again%20this%20week!),%20secondly%20being%20slightly%20addicted%20right%20now%20to%20dates%20and%20thirdly,%20the%20caramel%20pecans,%20well,%20erm%20not%20sure%20how%20they%20came%20about%20but%20I%20love%20them%20and%20thought%20that%20it%20would%20work%20well%20with%20the%20banana%20flavour!%20Oh%20and%20fourthly%20(is%20that%20a%20real%20word,%20looks%20wrong?!)%20I%20had%20bought%20some%20double%20cream%20that%20needed%20using%20up%20that%20day,%20so%20had%20whipped%20it%20up%20to%20go%20into%20the%20freezer%20but%20reserved%20some%20for%20this%20icecream,%20to%20make%20it%20extra%20indulgent!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20don%E2%80%99t%20(probably%20shouldn%E2%80%99t)%20eat%20this%20in%20huge%20quantities.%20Personally%20I%20would%20rather%20have%20a%20small%20amount%20of%20something%20indulgent%20rather%20than%20a%20large%20portion%20of%20something%20low%20fat%20anyway!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh%20and%20the%20recipes%20is%20in%20ounces%20as%20accidentally%20pressed%20the%20wrong%20button%20on%20the%20scales,%20sorry!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMelt%20together%20the%20sugar%20and%20margarine.%20Butter%20would%20have%20been%20excellent%20here,%20however%20I%20forgot%20to%20buy%20any%20and%20improvised%20with%20the%20Stork%20I%20use%20for%20baking%20with!%20Once%20its%20bubbling%20and%20looking%20a%20caramel%20colour,%20stir%20in%20the%20chopped%20pecans%20to%20coat,%20transfer%20to%20a%20sheet%20of%20non%20stick%20baking%20paper%20and%20try%20to%20separate%20them.%20Once%20cooled%20down%20and%20set,%20roughly%20chop.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUsing%20a%20hand%20mixer,%20lightly%20whip%20the%20condensed%20milk%20with%20the%20cinnamon%20and%20mashed%20bananas%20with%20the%20cream%20for%20a%20couple%20of%20minutes%20to%20combine%20thoroughly.%20Fold%20in%20the%20double%20cream,%20caramel%20pecans%20and%20dates.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETransfer%20to%20a%20suitable%20container%20and%20place%20in%20freezer.%20After%20an%20hour%20or%20so,%20gently%20fork%20through%20to%20break%20up%20any%20ice%20crystals%20and%20then%20repeat%20this%20stage%20a%20couple%20of%20times%20for%20a%20couple%20of%20hours%20until%20its%20frozen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrab%20a%20spoon%20and%20dive%20in!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESorry%20about%20horrific%20pictures!%20Oh%20and%20the%20chipped%20dish%20oops!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
