As always, great recipe, Claudia. Mixes are my secet weapon - my late aunt taught me so many tricks to use with mixes (my favorite - adding a coupleof drops of rose water to her boiled icing) - This is much simpler and richer than my banana chocolate cake. Will definitely try. Oh, is the heavy cream a better alternative to buttermilk (which I've been using with some sour cream)? Sounds wonderful!1 reply
