Ingredientes

  • 1 head red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 x apple, peeled & diced
  • 1 med onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar, or possibly to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. red wine, or possibly to taste
  • 4 slc bacon, crumbled bacon fat, for coating fry pan salt and pepper, to taste

Direcciones

  1. Fry bacon and reserve bacon grease. I use a little to coat frying pan.
  2. Set bacon aside.
  3. Shred cabbage and dice apples and onions.
  4. Add in onions to bacon fat and sautee, not brown. add in apples and cabbage.
  5. Sautee together till warmed, Add in vinegar and wine. Sautee till seasoned blends. Add in salt and pepper. You want the cabbage to be slightly crisp.
  6. Remove and add in crumbled bacon before serving.
