Basic Beef Jerky

Ingredientes

  • 2 or possibly 3 lbs. lean meat, flank steak or possibly brisket
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce or possibly teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • Red pepper flakes

Direcciones

  1. Slice partially frzn meat as thinly as possible (with the grain for chewiness or possibly against the grain for tenderness). Sprinkle the meat with any or possibly all of the ingredients depending on your taste. Marinate for a minimum of 24 hrs in the refrigerator.
  2. Drain and dry meat. Arrange on oven rack in a single layer. Place foil on bottom of oven to catch drippings. Leaving door ajar, bake at 150 degrees for about 7 hrs or possibly till chewy and brittle. Blot drops of oil with a paper towel. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.
