Ingredientes

  • 4 quarts. sliced med. cucumbers
  • 6 med. white onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 c. salt
  • 5 c. sugar
  • 3 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 2 teaspoon mustard seed

Direcciones

  1. Don't peel cucumbers; slice thin. Add in onions, whole garlic cloves and salt. Cover with cracked ice; mix thoroughly. Let stand 3 hrs. Drain well. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over cucumbers. Heat just to a boil. Seal in warm, sterilized jars. Yield: 8 pints.
