Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Tightly-packed basil leaves
  • 2 tsp Red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Chopped garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. Minced red onion
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1/2 c. Extra virgin olive oil Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Combine the basil leaves, vinegar, lime juice, garlic, onion, and honey in a blender and puree. With the motor running slowly add in the oil till emulsified. Season to taste with salt and freshly grnd pepper. May be prepared up to 1 day ahead and refrigerated. Bring up to room temperature before serving.
  2. This recipe yields 1 c. of vinaigrette.
