%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOf%20course%20I%20had%20it%20with%20dinner%20that%20night.%20In%20an%20amazing%20BBQ%20sammich....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethat%20consisted%20of%20fork%20tender%20chunks%20of%20chuck%20steak,%20grilled%20mushrooms%20and%20onions%20with%20melted%20smoked%20Gouda,%20the%20Candied%20Jalapeno%20BBQ%20Sauce%20of%20course,%20all%20on%20a%20toasted%20bun.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ate%20two%20of%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20used%20lots%20and%20lots%20of%20napkins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBack%20to%20my%20point....Why%20would%20I%20mess%20with%20an%20American%20classic%20like%20Mac%20'N%20Cheese?%20Because%20I%20wanted%20to%20try%20the%20sauce%20in%20something%20out%20of%20the%20ordinary.%20I%20mean,%20I%20knew%20it%20would%20be%20great%20on%20the%20standard%20ribs%20or%20chicken.%20And%20now%20I%20know%20that%20it's%20amazing%20in%20Mac%20'N%20Cheese!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBBQ%20Beef%20Mac%20'N%20Cheese%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20375'%20F.%20Spray%20an%208%22%20round%20or%20square%20oven%20safe%20dish%20with%20cooking%20spray.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20cooked%20pasta%20into%20the%20dish.%20Toss%20in%20the%20cooked%20beef%20and%20set%20aside.In%20a%20sauce%20pan,%20melt%20the%20butter%20over%20a%20medium%20low%20heat.%20Whisk%20in%20the%20flour%20and%20continue%20whisking%20for%20a%20few%20minutes.%20Don't%20let%20the%20flour%20get%20too%20brown.%20Slowly%20whisk%20in%20the%20heavy%20cream,%20beef%20broth%20and%20BBQ%20sauce.%20Continue%20to%20whisk%20until%20the%20sauce%20thickens.%20Don't%20let%20this%20happen%20too%20quickly...you%20want%20to%20cook%20out%20the%20flour%20taste.%20Season%20with%20salt%20and%20pepper%20to%20taste.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20cheddar%20and%20pepper%20jack%20cheeses%20and%20stir%20until%20melted%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20sauce%20over%20the%20pasta%20beef%20mixture%20and%20stir%20until%20combined.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETop%20with%20the%20smoked%20Gouda%20and%20cracker%20crumbs.%20Place%20the%20dish%20on%20a%20baking%20sheet...just%20in%20case%20it%20bubbles%20over.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%20about%2030%20minutes%20or%20until%20bubbly%20and%20golden%20brown%20on%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAllow%20to%20cool%20for%20a%20few%20minutes%20than%20serve.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20happen%20to%20have%20any%20leftover,%20by%20all%20means....heat%20it%20up%20and%20have%20it%20for%20breakfast%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBTW...I'm%20out%20of%20Candied%20Jalapeno%20BBQ%20Sauce%20now.%20It%20lasted%20a%20whole%203%20days.%20I%20guess%20that's%20what%20happens%20when%20you%20eat%20it%20every%20night%20for%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20more%20on%20order.%20And%20this%20time%20I'm%20buying%20more%20than%20just%20one%20jar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThank%20God!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EP.S.%20Uncle%20Gary's%20Peppers%20and%20Pepper%20Jelly%20is%20having%20a%20sale%20this%20weekend%20(7/13/13%20&%207/14/13)%20Just%20sayin...%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
