Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. each of 8 different beans or possibly peas
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, cut up
  • 1 pound whole tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 lg. ham hocks
  • 1 lg. onion, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Rinse beans, drain. Cover with water and soak overnight. In large kettle add in 2 qts water, ham hocks, and onions and cook for 2 hrs. Remove bones and add in remaining ingredients and simmer 1/2 to 1 hour till done.
