If you want to thicken the chili add a thickening agent
serve with grated cheese and/or crackers
add any other ingredients you desire
don't count the salt and pepper in the recipe for the salt and peppering of the meat before cooking

Ingredientes

  • 1-2 lbs of bear meat cut into chunks
  • flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 T garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • chili powder to taste (1 T)
  • 1 T onion powder
  • 1 pint chunky salsa
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cans Swanson beef broth
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 stalks of celery

Direcciones

  1. salt and pepper meat
  2. add salt, pepper, onion powder to flour and coat the meat
  3. add oil to your Dutch oven and brown the meat
  4. add the beef broth
  5. on medium heat bring it to a boil
  6. add all the other ingredients and simmer for 3-4 hours
