Receta bear chili
If you want to thicken the chili add a thickening agent
serve with grated cheese and/or crackers
add any other ingredients you desire
don't count the salt and pepper in the recipe for the salt and peppering of the meat before cooking
Ingredientes
- 1-2 lbs of bear meat cut into chunks
- flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 T garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- chili powder to taste (1 T)
- 1 T onion powder
- 1 pint chunky salsa
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- 2 cans Swanson beef broth
- 1 medium onion
- 2 stalks of celery
Direcciones
- salt and pepper meat
- add salt, pepper, onion powder to flour and coat the meat
- add oil to your Dutch oven and brown the meat
- add the beef broth
- on medium heat bring it to a boil
- add all the other ingredients and simmer for 3-4 hours
