  • 3 / 4 pound of beef
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 ancho chile
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 / 2 cup shelled peanuts
  • 1 slice white bread
  • herbs
  • oil
  • pepper to taste
  • salt to taste

  2. Roasted, stemmed and soak the chile. Fry the slice of bread.
  3. Sauté meat in oil and when browned, add water to cover it. Incorporate the onion, the smell of herbs, garlic, salt and pepper. Boil until meat is tender. Strain the broth. Blend bread fried with peanuts, tomatoes and chile. Fry in oil until season. Add salt, pepper and vinegar and three cups of broth in which meat is baked. Add meat. Cook five minutes more and serve hot.
