Receta Beef Casserole With Fetta And Rice

Ingredientes
- 2 c. chopped beef
- 1 x onions, medium
- 12 x mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 3 c. tomatoes
- 1 tsp garlic, crushed salt, pepper
- 2 c. rice, brown
- 100 gm feta cheese
- 6 x olives, black
- 2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese
Direcciones
- Cook rice in boiling salted water till tender. Drain well.
- Dice onions and tomatoes.
- Slice mushrooms.
- Saute/fry the beef mince in a pan till well browned and set aside.
- Saute/fry the onion in the oil slowly for 5 min, then add in the mushrooms, tomatoes and garlic, and let cook gently uncovered about 10 min. Pepper to taste.
- Preheat oven to 400F/200C degrees.
- Line the bottom of a casserole dish with 1 c. of the rice, add in the beef, and crumble over the top the fetta cheese, the olives, and half the sauce. Add in the remaining rice and the rest of the sauce, and sprinkle with parmesan.
- Cover and bake 30 min, remove lid and bake a further 15 min.
