- Brown meat; drain off fat. Measure fat into pan; brown onion. Add in celery, Chinese vegetables, warm water, salt, and soy sauce; simmer 15- 20 min.
- Combine cornstarch with cool water; add in to mix. Cook till thickened, stirring continuously. Serve 3/4 c. over 1/2 c. rice per serving. Yield: 4 servings.
- 1 serving: 2 meat, medium fat exchanges; 2 bread-starch exchanges; 1 fruit exchange.
